This is the 15second ad we made as the second of our group projects. It is also for the spot cleaning company.
Statement:
The intentions for this
advertisement are to promote our company’s services. Our company 'Spot Cleaning
Services' provides an array of cleaning specialties, with our forte being
stain removal in clothing. We have a fantastic and skilful team who aim to provide
fantastic service at an affordable price, it shouldn’t cost and arm and a leg
to get a stain removed! Our short advertisement is simple yet effective, it
uses nautical themes as well as a 1950s style to promote the cleaning company.
We used a stop motion style to collaborate images that move in a way that is reminiscent
of the 1950s style. Our “characters” are the same as those seen in other
advertisements for our company (our poster). A girl is seductively sitting on a
moving washing machine to represent clothes being cleaned. There are bubbles in
the background, iconic with cleaning, as well as adding to the whimsical feel
of our advertising campaign. The intentions of our advertisement are to be
playful yet clear in getting across our services in the cleaning industry. We
enhanced this idea with use of music of the 50s, which add to the upbeat
feeling. This advertisement uses simple but clever construction to appeal as an
authentic ad whilst remaining original in a modern age.
